Billing questions
Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
Your first paid subscription starts with a 7-day trial. We ask for a card up front; if there isn’t one on file when the trial ends, the subscription is canceled and you stay on Free.
Is it cheaper to pay yearly?
Yes. Paying for a year up front costs about 20% less than twelve monthly payments.
What’s the difference between automatic sync and “Sync now”?
Automatic sync checks your connected accounts for changes on a schedule, as often as your plan allows. “Sync now” starts a sync straight away from the Integrations page, up to the number of times a day your plan includes.
What are contact filters?
Filters narrow your contact list by keyword, field, group or tag, and you can save the searches you use often. They come with Standard and Premium. Quick search and favorites work on every plan.
What counts as a scan?
One business card photo that’s read successfully. Failed attempts don’t count. The allowance resets on the first day of each month.
What’s a connected account?
A Google, Microsoft or iCloud address book that ContactCross keeps in sync. You can connect one of each.
What happens if I move to a smaller plan?
If you have more connected accounts than the new plan allows, the extra ones are paused. Your contacts stay in ContactCross, and a paused account picks up again when you upgrade or disconnect another one.
What uses storage?
Files you attach to contacts, including the card photos the scanner saves with each new contact.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from Settings → Billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you can resume before then.
Do you send invoices?
Every payment has an invoice you can view or download as a PDF, and you can add a company name and VAT number to your billing details.
